POSTING FINAL RESULTS ON WEBSITE

Hi,

In this blog, I will be showing the process of me posting my final work on my website.

WIX

Firstly, I did some changes to my websites like changing the pictures and layout.

Then, I added a slideshow to present my covers on that.

Then, I started to delete the texts, adding my images, and changing the background.

FINAL RESULTS

I started with a nice intro to let the audience know what to expect, the background is a short video but in this case, I can't show it and it is best to see it for yourself on my website.

The background images are from Wix itself, I tried to find the most accurate background images on all my slideshows.

MAGAZINE COVER NAMES

Hi,

In this blog, I will be posting the journey to finding the cover names and the name for my project.

EUPHORIA

This is the name I have chosen for my project. The reason for this is because of it is meaning which is: ''Derived from the Greek word for healthy, the word euphoria is now used to describe an intense feeling of happiness or elation. A sense of euphoria may be the result of a fortunate turn of events or an indescribable personal high.'' and I think that this is the exact purpose of my theme and magazine covers. To give people a happy moment and make them feel intense by looking at the unrealistic, futuristic covers. But not only that, another reason why I got so inspired to use this as my project name is because of a series called "Euphoria" in which the colour purple is highly being used and also lots of creative make-up looks which I always used to recreate.

HALLUCINATE

This is the first name I thought about, the inspiration comes from not so far! I got inspired by music...again. I was listening to Dua lipa while working on my project and then I heard the word "Hallucinate" and looking at the images and the theme that I got I thought that it would be a great fit. So, I decided to use Hallucinate as one of my cover's name.

GODFIDENCE

This isn't necessarily a word that is inspired by but more of a made-up word. When I was thinking of the theme and looking at the photographs I was thinking of women then power, confidence, goddesses... and then I decided to make up the word GODFIDENCE which represents the cover and women the best. However, later on, I realised that I was not the first one to come up with the name.

TELEPATHY

Once again, I got inspired by music. While listening to my current favourite song by Khali Uchis which's name is Telepatia I really liked the word Thelepatia so I decided to use it as it fits with the cover and the theme. But I translated it to English which is very similar: "Telepathy".

FAZED

When I was thinking about the magazine that inspired me the most which are "dazed" I was thinking of a word that is similar to dazed. Then I thought about fazed (to surprise and worry someone) and so, I decided to use it.

FLAWSOME

Flawsome. Something that is totally awesome, but not without its flaws. This is another why crossed by while I was looking for the word Godfidence. I really liked the meaning behind it and thought that this would be an inspiring name for a cover so, decided to use it. Everyone has their flaws but that's what makes us awesome and unique!

DEJA-VU

Would you be surprised if I told you that I got inspired by music again? Well, I got inspired by music again... While listening to Olivia Rodrigo' song Deja-vu I once again saw the name deja-vu popping up on the magazine cover so I decided to use it because of how well it fits the theme and cover.

PINTEREST BOARD INSPIRATION / HAIR LOOKS

In this blog, I will be posting my Pinterest hair inspiration board.

HAIR BOARD

To create this board I used the digital software Milanote.

It is not much but these are the hairstyles that inspired me, I didn't exactly recreate them but I got inspired to combine them and add a little bit of my own touch to it.

PINTEREST BOARD INSPIRATION / MAKE-UP LOOKS

In this blog, I will be showing the interest board that I made for the make-up looks that inspired me.

MAKE-UP BOARD

This is a board I created by using the digital software Milanote that we worked with during the first term.

Not all of these make-up looks have been used however, I managed to take inspirations from all of them and combined them. Then I got the make-up looks for my fail looks.

As I mentioned before, the looks are final result of the inspirations combined together.

MAGAZINE RESEARCH / COVER 2 LOOK 3 / DEJA-VU

In this blog, I will be showing the research/inspiration that I got for cover 2 of my look 3 called Deja-Vu.

RESEARCH / INSPIRATION

I got inspired by a small bit from this cover which is the text saying "ICONIC". All the rest of my inspirations were a little of everything that I used so far for all the covers.

To remind of what I am talking about when I say that Rihanna - sledgehammer music video was my inspiration. This is the look that inspired me to wrap the fabric around me to create a futuristic look. also in the background, you can see the purple galaxy.

MAGAZINE COVER

You can see the elements in the cover, the fabric, the galaxy, and the little text saying "Iconic". By this cover, I once again tried to create a very futuristic and unrealistic looking cover.

EDITING PROCESS / COVER 2 LOOK 3 / DEJA-VU

In this blog, I will be showing the process of me editing cover 2 of my look 3 called DEJA-VU.

EDITING PROCESS

For my editing, I used the digital software Pixlr.

The software looked like this when I first opened it.

Then, I added the background that I wanted to use for my cover.

Then I uploaded the image I wanted to use and cut it out (deeper explanation available on previous blog posts).

Then I added the cover name with the font Romaniesta.

I then added the text with the font Adolfine.

As of last, I added the UK text with the font Verdana.

FINAL RESULT

Once again, I am very satisfied with the final result I totally achieved the goals that I wanted to achieve with the cover by using the elements that inspired me such as the galaxy, purple make-up, purple wig, and the purple fabric that is inspired by Rihanna's music video.
