In this blog, I will be showing the process of photographing my second look for my magazine covers.
SET UP
These images show the set-up for my at-home shoot. I used my laptop for lighting by searing white light on youtube that goes on for an hour and then put my laptop on a holder however it was not high enough so I had to put a toilet roll underneath to get it to the height that I wanted. Then, I also used my tripod.
Fail
I decided to put a fail on here as well to show you that it is not always as easy as we plan it.
I attached the fabric to the curtain but it kept falling and disturbing my photographing process even though at the end I got the images this still managed to give me a hard time.
Another fail was when I tried to use my fish-eye but it kept giving me blurry images which I was not really able to use but then found a solution to that.
I was thinking of ways to use a fish-eye filter. After downloading a few app's which did not help me as well, I remembered that there is a filter on Instagram stories so, I opened Instagram and started taking some pictures on there.
PHOTOGRAPHS
These are only a few of the images, I once again had to choose between 100+ images. With this shoot, I tried creating a futuristic/funky look that is really attention-seeking for teens and young adults. I once again used the self-made gloves and the fabrics as background. With the funky hair and make-up, I thought adding a unicorn would make it a whole. Although I haven't used every image such as the fish-eye ones, it was still a fun process to try it out and see which one works best.
