Answering to my feedback

 Hi,

In this blog, I will be making improvements and adjustments on the basis of the feedback I got.

Improving my website

I started by looking at the homepage and noticed that the Footer was too low.

///
So, I moved this and made it smaller.

///
Then I also notice the arrow that doesn't lead you anywhere so I deleted it.

///
Then I looked at the "About me" page. I remembered that the tutor commented that I could add more information about my self so I did that.

///
I also noticed that the text "Art&Design student at DMU, Leicester" had a different font so, I gave this the same font as the text.

///
I had just done my improvements on my portfolio page in my previous blog so if interested I would definitely recommend you to take a look at it.

///
Everyone chose " Excellent" for the "Contact me" page so I didn't do any changes to this page.

///
Then I looked at the pages from a mobile phone perspective, I noticed that with the changes I had done the page was also improved on the phone so I didn't have to do any more changes on here.

///
When I looked back at my "About Me" page the thing that bothered me was that the text " Art&Design student at DMU, Leicester" was not even with the text above.

///
So I clicked on the text and then clicked on the A+ sign to make it bigger.

///
Once I did that I was satisfied.

///
I adjusted the "Portfolio" page on my previous blog already so I didn't need to do any adjustments here.

///
The feedback on this page was "Excellent" so there was no need to do any adjustments to it.

Finalising my major project : Fashion Editorial

 Hi,

In this blog, I will be posting the finalising project of my Fashion Editorial and how I will present this on my website.

In my previous blogs, I have extensive explanations on how to use the Digital Software "Lucidpress" and "Wix". These are the Software's that I have been using to create my Major project.

Finalising Major project: Fashion Editorial

I started by adding the name of my editorial in the header which is "TOMORROW". Then I added the text for my editorial. For all my pages I have repeated the same steps.

///
I have added the texts by clicking on "Text" and then choosing "Headings" or "Sub-"headings". As I mentioned in the beginning, a more extensive explanation can be found in my previous posts.

///
Then, by clicking on "Insert > Image > Upload" I inserted images.

///
After repeating the same things over the whole editorial, it looked like this mid-process.

///
Once I had written everything and inserted the images, I started changing the fonts as wished. For the "Sub-Headings" I used the font "Libre Baskerville" and changed the size to 26.

///
For the "Body-texts" I used the font "Roboto Slab" and changed the size to 18.

///
Once I finished the editorial, I uploaded this to my flipbook on my website by clicking twice and then choosing "Upload".

///
I then chose "Double" and "Double page softcover".

///
Once it uploaded I decided to add text to the page to let the audience know what to expect.

///
I used two fonts to make this more interesting and this way I can add creativity without making it look too much.

///
After adding a small description of what the editorial is about, the portfolio page looked like this.

///
This is how it looked when I flipped the pages.

///
Then I also looked at how it looked from a mobile phone since I got a lot of feedback from an audience with mobile phones. The texts were at the bottom which I didn't like because I want the audience to see the texts first.

///
So, I moved the text to the top and the editorial to the bottom.

This is the final result of my Fashion Editorial on my Website.

Feedback & User Experience Testing

 Hi,

In this blog, I will be looking at the feedback I got and I will comment on this.

Feedback & User Experience Testing

From this feedback, I can see that most people chose "Excellent". There is also an audience that chose "Good" so I may try to improve my homepage by taking a look at the font of my texts.

///
From this feedback, I can see that the majority has chosen "Excellent" however there are a lot of votes for "Good" and "Okay". So, I will try to improve my self by changing the biography and perhaps make changes in the font.

///
Once again the majority has chosen "Excellent" however a lot of people chose "Good" and "Okay". The reason for this might be that my project is not completely finished and therefore I have not uploaded it completely yet. Once the Editorial is completely uploaded I will make sure to improve the "Portfolio Page"

///
From the feedback, I can see that the menu bar is clear and easy to find.

///
The feedback shows that the "Contact me" page is evident and it does not need any improvements.

///
Even though the majority chose "Excellent" the audience that chose "Good" is also big so, after all the feedback I got I will make sure to make improvements.

///
From the poll, I can see that the majority has given feedback from their phones. So, I will make sure to make the improvement for the users that visit my website from their phones. I was mainly focused on how it looked from the laptop which is why I will now focus more on how my website looks from a Mobile phone.

///
I got some positive additional feedback and some tips. Now that I looked at all the feedback, I now know where to make improvements and how to do this better.

///

Creating Feedback & User Experience Testing Form

 Hi,

In this blog, I will be posting about the creating of the Feedback & User Experience Testing form for my website.

Creating Feedback & User Experience Testing form

We had to search ''Google form'' on google and then click not it, once I did that this is how the page looked like then, I clicked on ''Personal''.

///
Then I clicked on "Blank" and started to create my own form.

///
I gave the form a name which is "Feedback & User Experience Testing".

///
I also added a form description "Your feedback will help me improve, thanks for completing the form".

///
Then, I added 8 question as the tutor has told us to.

///
Once the form was completed I copied the link so that I could add this to my website.

///
On my website I clicked on site Menu in order to add the link.

///
Then I clicked on this Icon which says "Add link".

///
After that, I chose "Web address" and pasted the link that I copied earlier.

///
Then, I had to make sure that I chose "New window" so that the link would open on a new window.

///
I then, gave the window a name which is in this case "Feedback"

///
Then it showed on my menu bar and once you click on it, it takes you to the Feedback & User Experience Testing form.
