Hi,
In this blog, I will be posting the finalising project of my Fashion Editorial and how I will present this on my website.
In my previous blogs, I have extensive explanations on how to use the Digital Software "Lucidpress" and "Wix". These are the Software's that I have been using to create my Major project.
Finalising Major project: Fashion Editorial
I started by adding the name of my editorial in the header which is "TOMORROW". Then I added the text for my editorial. For all my pages I have repeated the same steps.
///
I have added the texts by clicking on "Text" and then choosing "Headings" or "Sub-"headings". As I mentioned in the beginning, a more extensive explanation can be found in my previous posts.
///
Then, by clicking on "Insert > Image > Upload" I inserted images.
///
After repeating the same things over the whole editorial, it looked like this mid-process.
///
Once I had written everything and inserted the images, I started changing the fonts as wished. For the "Sub-Headings" I used the font "Libre Baskerville" and changed the size to 26.
///
For the "Body-texts" I used the font "Roboto Slab" and changed the size to 18.
///
Once I finished the editorial, I uploaded this to my flipbook on my website by clicking twice and then choosing "Upload".
///
I then chose "Double" and "Double page softcover".
///
Once it uploaded I decided to add text to the page to let the audience know what to expect.
///
I used two fonts to make this more interesting and this way I can add creativity without making it look too much.
///
After adding a small description of what the editorial is about, the portfolio page looked like this.
///
This is how it looked when I flipped the pages.
///
Then I also looked at how it looked from a mobile phone since I got a lot of feedback from an audience with mobile phones. The texts were at the bottom which I didn't like because I want the audience to see the texts first.
///
So, I moved the text to the top and the editorial to the bottom.
