In this blog, I will be writing about the further research and direction of my project.

DIRECTION OF MY PROJECT

So far, I did some research on the history of Turkish patterns and designs to help me understand them better and use them better in my project, I also looked at a Turkish architect Mimar Sinan who was known for his unique designs and mostly used the Turkish patterns which is why those designs are in almost every mosque in Turkey.

How has my research, so far, informed my project?

The research I have done so far has helped me carry out a great combination of the different types of patterns. It also made me understand where they came from and how they were used.

How useful has my research been?

I would say very useful, as this helped me get more inspiration to create my pieces.

What further research will I carry out next to build on previous, how will the further research inform my work?

The next research I'll carry out will be looking a the different kinds of fashion films as my 2D pieces are done, I now need to focus on my 3D outcome. So, I will be looking at fashion films and how these are filmed, directed, edited and so on... So this research will help me create the best short fashion film for my project.
