Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono Lennon was born on February 18, 1933, in Tokyo, Japan.

She is an artist and musician who was an influential practitioner of conceptual and performance art.

She then became worldwide known as the wife and artistic partner of musician John Lennon.

CUT PIECE (1964)

Cut Piece was innovative, though, for its fusion of active, even aggressive audience participation, and for its feminist themes.

This art of Yoko Ono has captured my attention because of how she tries to show the problem of as a woman how people only see you as just a body and cut all of the clothing she has on until it reveals her body and is naked.
